It's almost better than the gifts on Christmas day as everyone tries their best to find something perfect. Merry Christmas to you and yours.Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02158336083462589188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1313143544219095171.post-31443338312949932502010-12-24T07:15:57.617-06:002010-12-24T07:15:57.617-06:00Sounds like a nice, relaxing holiday spent just th...Sounds like a nice, relaxing holiday spent just the way it should be: with family! We do this every year. It's so special to hang them on the tree each year. We also always get a family ornament and an ornament that represents something in their lives that year (cheerleading, etc.)

On Christmas Eve we always make/decorate cookies. We watch A Christmas Story (THE best movie ever!) and read about the birth of Jesus. We also started a tradition of playing a game where we each take a turn and close our eyes. We are then given directions on what to draw (it's a snowman). We've gotten some very interesting snowmen!

The girls each get to select and open one gift from under the tree before bedtime. That is something I can remember doing all throughout my childhood and I am so very happy that my girls do it too!

Merry Christmas!

P.S. - I love your blog!Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02793714353023220169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1313143544219095171.post-74574609033368923002010-12-23T11:49:49.759-06:002010-12-23T11:49:49.759-06:00I love Christmas traditions, but I honestly think ...I love Christmas traditions, but I honestly think as far as food goes, we don't have many. My mom always makes this rice krispies wreath every year with food coloring and I loooove it! But outside of that, I don't think we have any. =]Morganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02928577212863841454noreply@blogger.com
