I am going to make this today. I have lots of old-fashioned oats to use up. Must have grabbed them when I meant to get quick-cooking at the store. I love that this recipe is so basic, and I can add whatever nuts or dried fruit I am in the mood for when I eat it.Loyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05301184428627981121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1313143544219095171.post-79822069256550853022010-11-13T03:09:32.873-06:002010-11-13T03:09:32.873-06:00I can't eat certain types of nuts either, so t...I can't eat certain types of nuts either, so this granola would be good for me as well.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03814360396897839625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1313143544219095171.post-81888345574269930452010-08-25T16:28:06.918-05:002010-08-25T16:28:06.918-05:00Yummy! I made my own granola recipe recently but think you have some ideas in yours that I'll be trying. I love adding raisins for sweetness and sunflower seeds for additional protein. I was just wishing for bagels last week, and there they were. Today I was thinking of searching for some sort of granola recipe, but didn't have to look anywhere but in my Bloglines reader--you're making it, too!

Thanks for taking the time to post these great recipes and the photos. I really appreciate it.

And I can totally empathize with your eating what's in the cupboards before moving... we're headed back to the US after 2 other countries in about 2 years and we're in "what can we make from what we have?" mode again! ;)

Love your new kitchen! Great choice I'm sure on Mushroom Bisque will be lovely... our living/dining rooms are Mushroom Cap. :)Ryan and Sandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04668973886049889986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1313143544219095171.post-13245430130883862582010-05-31T16:31:31.435-05:002010-05-31T16:31:31.435-05:00@ Marjo -- I always make the batch without any fr...@ Marjo -- I always make the batch without any fruit; that way we can add it fresh or dried to the bowls that we eat!
