Alas, no sticking, so perhaps it doesn't need it (and maybe that is why we need frequent stirring). I don't think it would hurt to spray it though.

I don't store my granola in the fridge, but my recipes don't require milk. I have tossed some in the freezer for longer-term storage, but we have small air-tight containers from IKEA that we enjoy and store our granola in.... but I've honestly never thought to store it in the fridge ;) SnoWhitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12939257456903076156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1313143544219095171.post-14475665472379785572013-06-02T18:39:35.552-05:002013-06-02T18:39:35.552-05:00you'll love a crockpot... put it on a birthday...you'll love a crockpot... put it on a birthday present list :)SnoWhitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12939257456903076156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1313143544219095171.post-72441310612289046732013-06-02T17:21:07.307-05:002013-06-02T17:21:07.307-05:00Two quick questions:

I know I spray my baking pan with Pam when I make it in the oven - wondering if the same applies to the crockpot?
-Second...do you need to / do you ever store yours in the fridge? The recipe I usually make contains milk, and seems to stay much more crispy in the fridge - thoughts?
Love this idea for the middle of summer - that is, if it ever gets really warm :) liz | carpe seasonhttp://www.carpeseason.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1313143544219095171.post-69328842056568817592013-05-31T09:46:31.507-05:002013-05-31T09:46:31.507-05:00Here's what I did for the brown sugar granola:...Here's what I did for the brown sugar granola:

9 C oats
1 C brown sugar
2 T honey
1/2 C water
1 T butter
Cinnamon, to taste.

Mix the water, honey, butter and brown sugar together and warm until sugar is dissolved and butter melts.
