I need to replace my cookware. We got it when we got married (just 6 years ago) but it has taken quite a beating from my husband learning how to cook... one too many burnt experiments! So I've had to throw out a few that the non-stick coating started to peel off of. I'd love any of these items you're giving away though!!

Oh how i'd love stoneware... Its always been way out of my budget but i just love to cook with it. then the ice cream maker.. I know this sounds bad but if i was to get the 25 dollar certificate for utensils i'd get wooden and plastic ones for my special needs son to play with. He's finally enjoying being in his gait trainer and me pushing him up to a drawer we threw lids and some plastic utensils in. Its finally beginning to become a playtime for my little guy in the kitchen with mommy

I would love to have an ice cream maker...you could say I need to replace mine since we found an anchient one in the attic of my house that was no longer functional...however, we did use the wooden bucket for a flower pot!
ReplyDeleteI could use a pasta pot as ours is now used to make soap and its hard to get the soap taste out of nonstick cookware (and soapy broccoli is not to be tolerated!) or an omlete pan as my hubby's had to be recycled due to peeling nonstick stuff!
Well well well...I need ah... lots of things. The main thing I need is another crockpot for church functions though. (Not to mention: breadmaker, new silverware, non meltable measuring cups, turners...the list goes on.

We have a hand crank ice cream maker and Corning Ware baking dishes (both inherited from my mother) that desparately need to be replaced.

The thing in my kitchen that needs the replacing most is the pasta pot. It's a 30-year-old hand-me-down!

ReplyDeleteMy nasty teflon coated jelly roll pan that, aside from its nasty chemically-ness, has something burnt on it that won't come off. I find this situation odd since it is teflon coated. Regardless, the pan needs replacing.

ReplyDeleteHello, I am a college student about to graduate from Texas A&M, and then get married shortly there after. I love reading different blogs about cooking because I want to be able to cook for my future husband. I grew up where cooking wasn't a big deal so I am at the very beginning of learning. It has been a lot of fun trying out new foods and making messes in the kitchen. :]
ReplyDeleteSince I am a student, and am getting married within the next year, we are really starting from scratch when it comes to kitchen items, so anything will work. I have plenty of glasses and plastic plates, and a nice set of kitchen knives. Other than that we don't really have much except a couple of banged up pots and pans.

Oh how I love ice cream, but we don't keep it in the house (so I don't eat it all!). Being able to make smaller portions of it at home would be a wonderful treat! And who wouldn't love stoneware! I used my sister's at Christmas and fell in love! I love kitchen gadgets!

ReplyDeleteLots of things--most of our ktichen stuff was given to us for our wedding, 19 years ago. And it's showing a little wear! New saucepans, new knives, and some new bakeware would all be great. Love to try Le Creuset!
