Yup! I once had a carton where all twelve eggs had twin yolks. I never bought that brand again. I was convinced that once was the work of nature but twelve had to be the work of man.
Haha, I am with Lucy Marie on this one--I was about to say the same thing. :) In Romania in my mom's childhood, if you had twin tomatoes or plums, or whatever fruit that looked like two connected in one, they would say not to eat it, 'cause you will get twins. Now, I wanted to have twins, so I would eat them on purpose:)) But we will see if it worked, or not:) Now that I am all grown up and know too much about stuff, I just pray they will be healthy babies, whether they come one my one or two at once:))
Isn't that a nice surprise? :) We have chickens on our farm so quite often we get double yolkers. We've also gotten eggs the size of marbles!!! LOL! Happy Morning to ya!
How cool! I have never had that happen - well with eggs from the fridge! My had my own little twin eggs, I guess! Ha!
ReplyDeleteI've had it happen once, but I didn't have the heart to eat them. :)It felt wrong or something. Enjoy your b-fast!
ReplyDeleteMaybe this is a sign of things to come in you and Frog Prince's future?? :)

ReplyDeleteIt hasn't happened often, but I always get excited and call the whole family in whenever it does happen. Hope the smile stays the whole day. :)

ReplyDeleteI've had that happen to me once. I was pretty excited about it. I called my husband over to show him the double yolk.
ReplyDeleteI often buy jumbo eggs b/c I don't have to crack as many to feed my family. I find more doubles in them... but still get excited :)
