Friday Favorite Finds #149

Thanks for joining us this Friday!  We’ve had lots of new faces around here on Fridays, perusing and linking up recipes.  Just a reminder that the purpose of this linky is to showcase recipes by other bloggers that you have not made yet.  These recipes have made your to-try list, just like these have made mine.

This week, my recipes are all finds related to Crockpot Chicken Week!  Recipes that you can make using leftover chicken.

Crockpot Cheesy Chicken Spaghetti – Although the recipe uses many canned and processed items, the recipe is solid.  Pre-cooked chicken (leftover), cream soups (see my recipes here), tomatoes with green chilies, mushrooms, bell peppers, pasta and cheese (I’d do homemade cheese sauce rather than Velveeta)… yum, yum!

Crockpot Chicken Tortilla Soup – While the recipe calls for chicken breast (raw), you can easily use pre-cooked chicken in this recipe.  This will ultimately reduce the needed cooking time in the crockpot, but cooking extra won’t hurt anything.

Crockpot Chicken Taco Soup – all that amazing flavor with a hint of leftover chicken.  Love this recipe; reminds me of one a friend made for Frog Prince and I when we shared dinner together years and years ago!

Crockpot Chicken & Beans
– An easy meal, filled with extra protein from the beans.  Original recipe calls for uncooked chicken, but just use leftover chicken and cook for 2 fewer hours, if desired.  Looks tasty.
