Garlic Italian Herb Bread

Need a new twist on garlic bread? Try adding Italian seasonings -- and using real garlic.

The flavor combination is amazing.

Garlic Italian Herb Bread - Finding Joy in My Kitchen
{Print Recipe}

6-8 slices of French bread
2 T butter, softened
4 garlic cloves, minced or chopped
1/2 tsp. Italian seasonings

Mince or chop the garlic.

Whip the softened butter until fluffy.  Then, add in the garlic cloves and Italian seasoning.

Add one pinch of sea salt.

Spread each piece of bread with butter mixture, and then place buttered bread on a cookie sheet.

Broil for 3-4 minutes until bread is lightly toasted.

Enjoy!

  2. Mmmmm, this looks great Sno. I love using "real" ingredients in my garlic bread having grown up with the butter and garlic powder variety. hey, we loved it then, but now I love a nice whole grain bread spread with irish butter and smothered with minced garlic despite the effects on my breath! :)
