If you had...

a 1-day Sam's Club membership... what would you buy?

I just got the summer issue of Kraft's Food and Family Magazine in the mail and in it was a coupon for a 1-day free membership to Sam's Club. I am thrilled because that's where I am able to purchase items, like oatmeal, for 4 cents an ounce!! Yeah! More granola for me :)

But, here's what I need to know from those of you that do bulk shopping... what would you buy that you could get a great deal on? I'm looking for suggestions of things I can't pass up!

Thanks :)

  1. There is so much I could list!
My favorite thing is there huge 48 oz container minced garlic for only $4.00. I just keep it in the fridge and it lasts along time. Other things would be:
    Milk
    OJ
    Bagels
    Spices
    Coffee
I hear meat is cheap, I have never bought it there though

That is all I can think about right now, but I know there is so much more! Come back and post what you got.

  5. usually their fruits are pretty good. i buy a lot of berries and such (if the price is good) and freeze them - great to make syrups and jams ^_^

  7. I saw the 1 day pass in my issue too. To bad the closest Sam's is an hour away :( I think the sweet-and-sour meatball skewers on page 41 are going on my grocery list for next week.

  9. I can't help with this one - we don't have Sams Club here in Canada. We just have COSTCO.
