Truffles

East Truffles - Adapted from Lynn's Kitchen Adventure

1 C whipping cream
1 1/2 C chocolate chips
Fun crushed goodies to roll the truffles in -- mini chocolate chips, crushed candy canes...!

Heat the 1 C whipping cream to a boil in a sauce pan -- stir regularly.

Remove from the heat and add in the chocolate chips. Allow them to sit in the warm cream for about 5 minutes. Then, whisk/stir to facilitate melting.

Pour into a bowl (or an pan, if you wish to just make a yummy fudgey-like dessert), and refrigerate for 5-6 hours, or overnight.

When chocolate mix is well set, roll into bite-sized truffles. Roll truffles in whatever yummies you'd like. Place them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, and then into the refrigerator to set up. Allow them to set in the cold fridge for about an hour before serving.

Now... where's the EASY button?! ;-)

These are quite tasty, but you can't leave them out of the fridge for too long... they get really soft.

You could also pour them into a pan and use this recipe to make a really easy and yummy fudge.
