Crockpot Green Bean Casserole

Cooking for Easter this weekend?

Try making one of our favorites in the crockpot!

Crockpot Green Bean Casserole - SnoWhite

1 batch of Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/8 C milk
4 C green beans, cut and cooked
1 tsp. soy sauce
pepper, to taste
1 6oz can of French Onions (or 2 C homemade bread crumbs)

Prepare the cream soup.

Stir the cream soup, milk, soy sauce and green beans together and place in the crockpot.

Cook on low for 4 hours, and then add the French Onions before serving.

  1. Yum! I haven't ever done green bean casserole in my crockpot. Thank you for sharing so I can try it out!

  2. Yum! I don't know if my mom has green bean casserole on the menu for Easter dinner, but now I just might have to make sure it makes its way onto the table.

  3. Yummy!! I have never tried this in the crockpot either. Would sure save me some time for Easter lunch. Thanks for the info!!

  4. That's a good idea I may use my crockpot next time too. I'm an old fashioned green bean eater meaning I don't like this type of casserole thing for my green beans. Guess it's because I don't like the mushroom soup.

  5. I'm a big fan of green bean casserole, but this is the first time I've ever seen it done in a crock pot! I can't wait to try it.

  6. I hate that we only have green bean casserole at Thanksgiving. Thanks for bringing it back now that green beans are ACTUALLY in season! Love that its a crockpot dish!

  7. Definitely a great idea to cook this in the crock pot and free up both space on the stove and time.

  8. Thanks, I will definitely be trying this for Thanksgiving. I'm making dressing in the crock pot for the first time this year too. I love being able to cook some of the sides in my crock pots so I can free up the oven.

Thanks for stopping by! I'd love to hear from you; especially how you're finding JOY in your kitchen.
