Friday Favorites

Another yummy week in the blog world....

It's been sooooo hot... and this lemon sorbet by Betty Crapper is calling my name. Or, maybe it's this Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream from Jenn's Food Journey.

Who wants to turn on the oven when it's this hot?!  No need to, when you can make Apple Crisp on the Grill!

I've been searching for a good Homemade Vanilla Wafers recipe for a while -- thanks, Loving My Domestic Life.

Oh. My. Goodness.  It's no secret we I love sweet potatoes around here -- these Sweet Potato Buttermilk Pancakes by Deanna's Corner Cooking {minus the nuts, of course}and this Sweet Potato Zucchini Bread by Nave Family Food have been excited to try some new recipes with my favorite root veggie!

Sensing a theme?  Since it's hot, I'd love a Homemade Frosty by Tidy Mom.  Or maybe I'll try this Blackberry Lemonade by Hospitality Haven.  YUM!

While I do have a favorite pizza crust recipe -- Alison at Oopsey Daisy says this pizza crust is the best pizza crust ever!  Might have to give it a try.

This delicious strawberry cheesecake had me craving sweets at 7:45am...!  Thanks, Adventures of a Betty Crocker Wannabe.

Want something new for breakfast - try this zucchini oatmeal or this blueberry oatmeal streusel bread from the Delshad Duo!

This cherry upside down cake has my husband's name written all over it ... and it's one I can make for my MIL since it's GF too!  Thanks, Gluten-Free Easy.

How's this for an alternative to toast -- a sweet omelet from Health Food Lover.  Please hold the nuts and add fresh fruit!  YUM!

This garlic marinade will certainly have to make an appearance when we're done eating from the pantry!  Thanks Sweet Country Life.

Two other fun recipes caught my attention -- Roasted Broccoli and Red Pepper by Eat at Home and Fruit Butter Spread by Simple Bites.

Thanks for all the inspiration this week!!

  8. Thanks for the shout out. I really, really want to make that lemon sorbet again. I even bought more lemons; however they went bad really fast and now I need to buy more.
