Spiced Whipped Cream

My best friend is a whipped cream fanatic :)

She once ordered a cup of hot chocolate and asked for lots of whipped cream… the waiter brought her a second cup, just full of whipped cream.

I wish I didn’t live 600+ miles from her because I’d actually bring her a cup of this whipped cream, rather than just post tempting photos of it.

Spiced Whipped Cream – Finding Joy in My Kitchen
{Print Recipe}
1 C whipping cream
2 T powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger

Combine whipping cream, powdered sugar and spices in a metal bowl, or in the bowl of you mixer.

Whip the cream and spices until light and fluffy!

We enjoyed ours atop a new recipe for pumpkin pie (thanks, Kim!) with a gingersnap crust!!

Here’s a slice just for you, Kim!

  1. I love freshly whipped cream...and i love creating different flavors with it!

  2. Oooh, this version of spiced whipped cream sounds good too! I usually just add honey and cinnamon to mine-super yummy on a hot peach cobler :-)

  3. That sounds perfect for the season!

  4. Two of my favorite things: cinnamon and whipped cream! What's not to love!

  5. I made a maple bourbon whip cream to top off my pumpkin pie this year.
    1 T. of vanilla
    2 T. of maple syrup
    2 T. of Bourbon
    1/2 cup heavy cream
And then just beat until soft peaks form.
It taste great and really complemented the flavors of the pumpkin.

  6. Hello and yum, perfect for pie or dipping fruit...or just a spoon

  7. There is nothing better than fresh whipped cream. I never thought of adding things to it. This sounds amazing!! I will be trying it out!! Thanks again!

Thanks for stopping by! I'd love to hear from you; especially how you're finding JOY in your kitchen.
