  1. I wanted to send you a little note and just say Thank You. I have always loved cooking and baking. I even started college in a Culinary program but soon changed to Chemistry. My other love, science, winning out. After years of long days in the lab and 2 kids I guess I got burned out. Meal planning and dinner became a chore. It was your website that helped me get back my cooking groove. I have been a follower for a while but one day I said enough. I started using your meal plans each week. It has made life just a little easier. I'm starting to just use them as a template but it still helps. So, thank you again. I'm glad I found your little neck of the internet a few years ago :-) And now I'm off to try those chocolate chocolate cookies!
    Happy New Year!

  2. We enjoyed the Maple granola. I overcooked it a tad, but they really enjoyed it! I added some flax seeds to it, and I think that offset the liquid ratio so it wasn't as chunky as I like… Thank you for the recipe!

  4. I love your blog too- I love the simple ingredients and the easiness of each recipe and of course the delicious taste too! We have been making the sweet potatoe bread each week for sandwich bread for the past few months. I am wondering if you have stopped blogging though because you have not had any entries since the new year- if you have that is fine because I still enjoy all the recipes you have already done but I always enjoy seeing new ones as well.
