Yum - o.

Decadent Chocolate Frosting - Adapted from Hershey's

3/4 of a stick of butter, softened
2/3 C cocoa (I recommend Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate!!)
3 C powdered sugar
1/3 C milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Using a mixer, cream together the soft butter and cocoa.

Add the powdered sugar alternately with the milk.

Cream until light and fluffy...

Stir in the vanilla and you have yourself some amazing frosting.

  3. Just made the cake and frosting for some dinner guests tonight. We added chocolate chips to the cake for a triple chocolate cake. Thanks for the great recipes.

  4. Holy Cow! Just made this frosting now and it's so good I could eat it by itself or mixed with vanilla ice cream. It almost doesn't need cake or brownies to put it on.

  5. Hi, just wanted to ask what the frosting tastes like. Is it too sweet or is it dark chocolatey? and is it creamy in texture?

    1. It's sweet, but not overly sweet; not bitter like dark chocolate typically is. Rich & creamy too! It's one of our favorites.
