We are one week out from spring break, and we are feeling it! The weather *hopefully* has turned from having the thermometer dip below zero, and the longer days are making it seem more and more like spring. With the time change, I am looking forward to getting outside and enjoying the later afternoon light in the coming week. Perhaps this week, we might get to do that with some dear friends from Ohio who may pay us a visit for their spring break.
Our recipe highlights from last week went to a favorite “old recipe” -- one that we got when we got married in 2007. A creamy potato soup with no-knead focaccia bread. Delish!
We also were reminded once again how much we love the easy Crockpot Balsamic Pork with Baked Apples. We paired it with sweet potato coins and roasted asparagus.
We topped off the weekend with a delicious no-bake mixed berry cheesecake. Love.
