Last week we wrapped up the semester; commencement on Friday night followed by finishing grading for me on Saturday! While I do plan to do some work this week, I am ready for rest & celebration as we near Christmas.
Our recipe highlight of the week went to our Bible study treats – two of them. We had a hot chocolate party, with hot cocoa on a stick:
And, Andes Mint Fudge. Recipe to come.
We also enjoyed an old favorite – Lucy’s Chili. A hearty veggie-based chili that makes great use of the crockpot. This week, we’re taking it easy on the cooking – but not the baking! Another baking day with my sister is coming up this week!
