Our recipe highlight for the week was on Saturday night when we had dinner with my family after a synchronized swimming show – we enjoyed Cheese-Crusted Lasagna Soup. Get the recipe here.
I don’t know if you’ve ever seen synchronized swimming before, but after being a swimmer for more than 10 years, and coaching for 4 years, let’s just say it will forever be a part of who I am. My sister coaches presently, and her girls did a fantastic job at the show – case in point, this lift.
No, they are not using the bottom of the pool!! And, yes, she is doing a somersault in mid air. If I can figure out how to edit a video, I’ll try to share the video of this lift with you this week.
That aside, we tried a new recipe last week that was really delicious: Mushroom & Kale Stroganoff. The recipe was light and yet filling. I’ll post it soon.
