Menu Plan - Oct. 11

What a week!  On Monday, my hubby became Dr. Frog Prince :)  We celebrated with friends on Tuesday evening, and had a fun cake with statistical equations on it, just for Frog Prince.

Then, on Friday morning, we hit the road to travel to Frog Prince's family so we could celebrate the marriage of my sister-in-law! It was a beautiful fall wedding, although a little chilly to be outside!!

Now, we're just home, and getting ready for another week.

We stuck to our menu plan pretty well last week, although we ended up running out of leftover soup and made up a batch of rice cooker mac and cheese with broccoli as a quick meal.   We also enjoyed....

This week, a dear friend of mine and her hubby are coming for a visit on their way back to Pennsylvania, and Frog Prince is heading out to a conference (translation... I can make a black bean dish I've been wanting to make for a LONG time!).  When Frog Prince gets back, we might try and take a trip north to see the fall colors with some friends..... provided it's not snowing, so the end of our menu plan this week is still a little up in the air.

  4. It is Thanksgiving in Canada today. I just ate a wonderful turkey dinner a few hours ago and have no call to be hungry but looking at those photos my tummy is growling LOL. What a really neat idea to include them in your post!
