Menu Plan–December 2

Last week was all about turkey leftovers – since we used them in so many different ways, we weren’t even tired of them by Saturday!

Nonetheless, we are ready to move on to delicious winter foods because it’s finally starting to feel like winter.  We have a dusting of snow, our Christmas tree is up, we made yummy gingerbread cookies and we went to our annual Christmas concert on Friday night! 

This week is our last week of the semester, so we’re using our crockpot quite a few nights this week. 

Sunday
Veggie Scramble, Cheddar Potato Patties {new}
Easy Lasagna Soup {add in mushrooms & bell peppers}, garlic bread
{To do: Thaw Italian sausage, prep veggies}

Monday
Pumpkin Muffins {freezer}
Crockpot Italian Sausage Vegetable Soup, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
{To do: Thaw wild rice & chicken, reserve half of the sausage for Fri}

Tuesday
Berry Baked Oatmeal
Chicken & Wild Rice Casserole {new}, Broccoli, Cauliflower & Carrots {steamed}
{To do: Prepare veggies for chili on Thursday}

Wednesday
Granola, Dried Cherries
Leftovers
Bible Study Christmas Party!  Mint Oreo Cookie Crunch, Anise Cookies, Chocolate Crinkles, Gingerbread, Dark Chocolate Cherry Bark & more!
{To do: Thaw meat for chili, pull out dinner rollsd}

Thursday
Leftover Berry Baked Oatmeal
Lucy’s Amazing Crockpot Chili, Sweet Potato Dinner Rolls {LO, freezer}

Friday
Granola, Dried Cherries
Penne with Broccoli & Sausage, Applesauce 

Saturday
Breakfast Pizza, OJ
Baked Vegetable Sandwiches, Roasted Red Pepper Soup

  1. Looks like a yummy week at your house. My son is stressing over finals this week, I cant even imagine what you and your husband are going through dealing with all those anxious students. Here's hoping for an easy week!
