How can it possibly already be July? I have a month left of summer before transitioning back, at least mentally, to teaching! Eek. Must make the most of these upcoming weeks… a little bathroom & bedroom painting and some well-needed R&R. This last week, we enjoyed the first fruits from our garden:
We also hosted Frog Prince’s boss for dinner, as he was in town for a conference – & this cake was dessert. Yep. It was good!
We grilled a bunch of brats this week, so we enjoyed many meals of traditional summer eats:
The heat is on this week – forecasted highs near 100 without factoring the humidity – so we’ll be eating treats and eats that keep us cool.
