Countdown to 2011: Desserts

Countdown2011

I don't know about you, but I certainly had a fun week drooling over looking at your top breakfast, bread, soup and stew, meatless main dish, and main dish recipes over the past week.  If you're just stopping by today, welcome to the party!  It's not too late to link up your best recipes of 2010.

We saved the best for last!  Or, perhaps, if you have a sweet tooth like me, we saved the hardest day for last.  Today is dessert day!  I'm so excited for today ... good thing just gazing at delicious desserts doesn't add inches to my waistline.  Bring on the scouting of the best desserts of 2010.

{You'll never know these are made with
whole wheat flour, dark chocolate and applesauce!}

{A perfect Valentine's Day dessert}

{Don't want to let people know they have zucchini?
Just peel those veggies first!}

{this is in our freezer right now ready to ring in 2011!}

{This one has even doubled for a breakfast at our place!}

{Try these. Trust me.}

{this is a perfect way to use up candy canes!}

{my first attempt at cheesecake!!}

Now it's up to you to bring this one home!  Thank you all so much for participating this week - and Happy New Year!

  2. I hope you don't mind, I entered 2 desserts. My kids' favorites and mine. I asked my kids what their favorite dessert was and they ALL said, "Booger Pie". Despite the horrible name and it's extreme simplicity, it is actually quite good. MY favorite are the coconut macaroons. Thank you for all the goodies you posted, I'm going to go back and check them out more (and drool a bit). :-)

    I made your the rhubarb cheesecake this summer, a small version and we ate it before I posted. Loved it, I will be making again.

    Hope you are posting your peppermint ice cream soon. I need to use up some peppermints and it's hubby's favorite ice cream :).

    Happy New Year!
