Countdown to 2013: Reader Favorites from 2012

Happy last day of 2012!

Countdown to 2013 @ Finding Joy of My Kitchen

We’ve really been enjoying our time off – lots of game playing (a little 7 Wonders, Race for the Galaxy, Loot, Pack & Stack, and of course, Euchre & Hand & Foot!), and we’re gearing up for another night of fun as we ring in 2013.

We are just two days away from the end of the Countdown to 2013

Today and tomorrow are two fun days (& new to the countdown this year):

Today: Reader Favorites
Tomorrow: Any 2012 Recap Post (food-related, please!)

Any stat counter program can help you identify your most popular recipes of the year, and I can’t wait to see which recipes are the most viewed on your blogs.

If you missed out on the other days – do stop by!  The linky is still open, and will remain open for a few more days, so there is still time to link up your best recipes from 2012.

Day 1: Top 12 Breakfast Recipes of 2012
Day 2: Top 12 Soup and Bread Recipes of 2012
Day 3: Top 12 Main Dish Recipes of 2012
Day 4: Top 12 Snack & Appetizer Recipes of 2012
Day 5: Top 12 Dessert Recipes of 2012

See them all on our “Best Recipes of 2012” Pinterest board.

Day 6: Top 12 Reader Favorites

Click on any photo to see the recipe!

1. Hot Cocoa on a Stick
2. Greek Yogurt Pound Cake
3. Sweet & Sour Chicken
4. Blueberry Greek Yogurt Muffins
5. Homemade BBQ Sauce
6. Crockpot Parmesan Garlic Chicken

8. Crockpot Chicken Teriyaki Legs
9. Thick & Chewy Sugar Cookies
10. Cheesy Chicken & Ranch Casserole

There are two easy ways to participate:

1) Create a post highlighting your best recipes of 2012.
2) Link up your best individual recipes for 2012.

All I ask is that you link back to the countdown and that you visit others!

  4. How did you calculate your most popular posts from 2012? I use blogger too and am looking at my stats page, but it doesn't have an option to look at the year. I can see my stats by month, day, week, or all time. How can I see my most popular from 2012 only? I'd love to write up a post and link up so I'd appreciate any help you can give! Thanks! :)

    1. It's not as easy as you'd think! But, I look at "all time" and then find the posts by date - looking for only those that are from 2012. Does that make sense? I do this from the Google Analytics side - which you have access to having a blogger blog.

  5. I can see why all those recipes were most viewed! YUM!
