Menu Plan–June 3

This last week was a one of transition – moving between the end of the school year and the start of summer.  It was quite productive and we certainly celebrated with delicious summer foods!


This week, we kick off summer!  And, the biggest surprise was that we have a pepper growing in our garden two months earlier than last year!  Summer is here!  Can’t wait for more BBQ – and fresh berries, which are starting to appear here. 

Martha’s Buttermilk Pancakes, Apple Maple Sausages & Berries
Crockpot BBQ Pork, homemade BBQ sauce, corn on the cob
Dark Chocolate Raspberry Cake

Leftover pancakes & fresh berries
Mushroom & Spinach Calzones, steamed broccoli
BBQ – Chicken Sausage & Beer Brats, 40-minute hotdog buns, pickles, veggies

Berry Crumble
Ice cream & berries

Berry Baked Oatmeal
Simple Sandwiches (Wheat Buttermilk Bread, Roasted Red Pepper Spread -new)
Minestrone Soup {new}

Baked Oatmeal (leftovers)
Mushroom & Spinach Calzones(leftover)

Granola, Yogurt & Raspberry Rhubarb Sauce
Pasta & Zucchini

Blueberry Rhubarb Bread {new}
Grilling –  Island chicken, roasted asparagus, sweet potato fries

  1. Do you have a page/link/search bar or something that I can find all your recipes? I'm loving them but it gets tiresome to flip page through page, post by post.

    1. Hi Reagan! Yes, I sure do. Three places you can go to find recipes based on what you want:

      1) Recipe index page:
      Choose your category and away you go.

      2) Ingredient list: right hand side bar. Search by ingredients that you have in your kitchen.

      3) Search Bar: right hand side bar, just below the ingredient list, just above the "archives" drop down. Type in your ingredients, search terms and you'll get to see the recipes that meet those criteria.
