Hello Fall! The weather finally changed on Friday and boy, has it been GORGEOUS! I love fall. Windows wide open. Sweatshirts. Blankets. Breeze. Colors. Apples. Pumpkins. Yum! That spurred me to change up the blog look for fall --
This last week, we enjoyed:
While we did have taste of fall this week, the weather is going to warm back up again (hello 90 degrees on Tuesday) – so instead of the soups I’m itching for, we’ll continue to use our grill.
Sunday
Apple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal
Zucchini Carrot & Black Bean Quesadillas on whole wheat tortillas, steamed veggies
Grilling – Italian Sausages, Buns, Pickles, Corn-on-the-Cob
To do: Make bread, thaw spaghetti sauce & chicken, make granola & red pepper spread
Monday

Sandwiches on Mom’s Famous Whole Wheat Bread
Crockpot Chicken Parmesan with Homemade Spaghetti Sauce
To do: Take pizza crust out of freezer (Tuesday AM)

Honey Olive Oil Granola & Fruit

Grilled Garden Veggie Ricotta Pizza, Green Beans
To do: Make rice (make extra for Thursday) & roast tomatoes

ReplyDeleteYes, us too! We love it, but it's not always on our radar either as we try so many new recipes. But, it's one of our favs and dinner tonight was delicious - especially using our garden spaghetti sauce. It would have been better had we been able to share dinner with you & your boys.
