Menu Plan - April 17

This past week I was seriously lacking in the cooking motivation department... but, I'm feeling a little more motivated this week, as I'm looking forward to the delicious eats come Easter Sunday!  

Last week, we ate:

Turkey Italian Sausages {grill}
served with pickles and green beans


with steamed cauliflower and broccoli

Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream
{new; recipe Tuesday}

Whole Wheat Really Chocolatey Chip Cookies

{a fav! made with wild rice stuffing}

Blueberry Baked Oatmeal
{forgot the sugar by accident, served with drizzled honey instead!}

Rigatoni and Veggies

{grilled cheese!}

This week, we're trying some new recipes, along with our old stand-bys.  Since we'll be busy celebrating Christ's Resurrection on Sunday, I've also included our Easter menu in this week.  If you need Easter menu inspiration, check out our top 45 Easter recipes!

D- Italian Chicken and Rice {new}
{To Do: Make Pizza Crusts}

B - Fruit Smoothies {new}, Granola
D - Pizza

B - French Toast, Berries

B - Granola and Yogurt
Dessert for Bible Study - Rice Krispie Bars, or Lemon Brownies

B - Clean out the freezer/oatmeal with fruit
D - Chicken and Mushrooms in a Garlic White Wine Sauce {new}, steamed greens


B - Raspberry Banana Loaf {new}
D - Leftovers

Easter Sunday



  1. I still want to try your baked veggie sandwiches! We celebrate the memorial of Christs death rather than the resurrection which was tonight. It was a wonderful meeting! Hope next Sunday goes well for you, you'll certainly be eating well! :-)
