Menu Plan


We had a beautiful week -- I got to watch my sister walk across the stage earning her nursing degree!!  Since it was such a busy week, filled with LOTS of yummy foods, I am a little back-logged on recipes to post.  So, to tempt you a bit, I have included pictures below, with recipes coming later.

This week, our plans have changed again.  Nothing about our journey in the past few weeks has been "normal", or gone according to our plans.  Good thing Someone bigger than us is in charge.  This means, that I have to post two menu plans this week because Frog Prince and I will be in separate cities this week as we look for a house!!  


Sunday - Little sister's college graduation party!
B - Egg Bake (new)
Open House - Italian Turkey Sandwiches (new),
whole wheat dinner rolls, Pasta Salad (new), German Potato Salad, fresh fruit & fruit dip (new), fresh veggies and dill dip (new), sweet potato chocolate chip bars, rhubarb cake (new), chocolate krispies, cookie dough brownies (new).
Dessert - LOST!!!  ;-)


Monday
B - Granola
L - Turkey sandwiches on
carrot bread, pasta salad
D - Leftovers
Dessert - Rhubarb Dessert (new)
Tuesday
B - 
Granola and yogurt
D -
Chicken Spinach Pasta
Wednesday
B -
Granola, fruit
D - Leftovers
Thursday
B - Oatmeal and blueberries
D -
Chicken and Pepper Skillet, rice

Friday
B - Granola and Smoothies
D - Veggie-loaded pizza (using this crust), fresh fruit

Saturday
B - Waffles, fresh fruit
D - Cheesy BBQ Open-Faced Sandwiches, broccoli

As I mentioned, Frog Prince is going to be on his own for a little while... being the good wife that I am I decided to help him out with his meals too :)

Tuesday
B - Cinnamon Raisin French Toast {freezer}
L - Minestrone Soup {freezer}, applesauce, trail mix
D - Baked Potato Bar (potatoes, broccoli, cheese) and frozen veggies
[groceries, make bread, thaw kielbasa]

Wednesday
B - Pancakes {freezer}
L - Sandwich (on Wheat Bread), carrots, trail mix, applesauce
D - Brown Rice Bake, sweet corn
[Life Group]

Thursday
B - Pancakes {freezer}
L - Sandwich, carrots, trail mix, cherries
D - Leftovers, mixed veggies
[make three-cheese ziti ahead, store in fridge]


Friday


B - Oatmeal
L - Leftovers

Saturday


B - TBD (make something with leftovers for week, freeze)
L - Leftovers
D - Tuscan Lemon Chicken, oven potatoes
Dessert - Cookies?  Make something yummy while the oven is hot!
