Menu Plan - September 5

I survived my first week as a college professor!  Wow.  It was fun, a whirl wind and Frog Prince and I continue to learn how to adjust to both of us working full time.

We took advantage of the long weekend and invited my grandparents over to our new house -- although it's far from finished {we don't even have couch yet}, it was wonderful to have them over and to make dinner for them!

In addition to a yummy apple bacon pork roast {new recipe}, Grandma's apple pie and twice baked potatoes, we also enjoyed:

Cherry Blueberry Breakfast Cake
{recipe to come}

Pizza Margherita

Caramel Apple Cake
{recipe to come}

Balsamic Chicken

I'm looking forward to the day off tomorrow -- a day to catch up and get ready for the rest of the semester.  Oh, and we will be grilling tomorrow... because Frog Prince got his grill today :)

  12. Don't feel bad about the couches- we have lived here for 9 months! and still don't have any couches of our own. (We do have some awful hand me downs. awful. but one room continues to be empty. Such is life.)

    Glad you had fun with the family.
