Menu Plan - November 14

Oh... we're getting closer to the holidays!  And, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here!  Saturday was a winter wonderland -- snowed all day long and we accumulated around 7 inches at our house.

At one point, we thought a tree in our back yard was going to snap off under the weight of the heavy wet snow... but, our birch tree is still standing strong.

Over the weekend, we planned our Thanksgiving Day menu -- many of the recipes on our menu were the recipes I highlighted last week in our Healthy and Easy Thanksgiving series.

During this past week, we enjoyed:

{This is our new favorite soup!!}

Colorful Chicken Linguini

Gingerbread Muffins

  1. I know most people want the snow for the holidays, but I'm happy with the fact that it was 72 here yesterday!!! That snow is beautiful, but I know it's COLD too...brrrrrr!!!!

  2. Holy Moly that's a lot of snow!! We haven't seen any yet in was in the 60s this weekend!

Your menu plan looks delicious!--I've been eying that Lasagna Soup below. ;)

  3. Holy cow you got alot of snow!!! It was pretty and 70 degrees here. I love the snow but only for a day or two :) Your meals are always so colorful. Looks like a great week!

  4. Wow! We are still wearing T-shirts here in Florida. :/

    The spinach squares look DELISH!

  5. Oh my - I LOVE snow, looks wonderful! And, you seem to have the perfect menu for this time of year and weather :)

  6. Wow! That's a lot of snow. It's been in the high 60s/low 70s around here lately and that doesn't look to be changing.

I like snow, but 7 inches would completely shut down my city for days! Which is what happens when you live in the south and no one knows what to do with snow besides freak out. :)

  7. I'm looking forward to the recipe for gingerbread muffins!! I love gingerbread!

  8. That is a crazy amount of snow. I wouldn't know what to do with myself. Highs are in the 80s in Miami.

  9. Let me live in MN? = ) I am jealous!

Thanks for stopping by! I'd love to hear from you; especially how you're finding JOY in your kitchen.
