Christmas Week Menu



Well, friends – we’ve made it!  Christmas is upon us this very week and I am so excited.

The fact that our Savior came to earth, lived a life as a human being just so that He could show His love for us, is simply amazing.  I pray that you and your family have a chance to ponder and enjoy the life-giving present we celebrate this Christmas season. 

Before we jump into our Christmas week menu, there are some highlights from our menu last week that I’d like to share:

We are excited to begin some of our own Christmas traditions this year.  We have some fun things planned for our week, many of which involve food, of course and I’ll be sharing those traditions with you this week as we get ready for Christmas. 

Sunday
B – Buttermilk Pancakes with Raspberry Sauce
D – Homemade Pizza
Dessert – Mint Oreo Cookie Crunch 

Monday
B – Scrambled Eggs; Pan Fried Potatoes
D – Butternut Squash Lasagna, green beans

Tuesday
B – Berry Baked Oatmeal, OJ
D – Leftovers
Dessert – Peppermint Ice Cream {new}

Wednesday
B – Lemon Blueberry Scones
D – Roasted Red Pepper Soup, Pizza Stuffed Pretzels
Christmas Eve Service at Church – then Snow Tea, Hot Chocolate and Cookies!

Thursday
B – Cranberry Orange Muffins
D – Homemade popcorn, cheese and crackers, pineapple and grapes

Friday – Christmas Eve
B – Cinnamon Raisin Bread, fresh fruit
D – Crockpot Chicken Chili, French Bread
Dessert – Christmas Cookies {see side bar for our favorites}

Saturday – Christ’s Birthday!
B – Christmas Eggs, Overnight Cinnamon Sugar Coffee Cake
D – Crockpot Boeuf Bourguignon, Artesian Bread
Dessert – Birthday Cupcakes

Sunday 
B – Cinnamon Raisin French Toast with leftover Christmas Eggs
D – Three Cheese Ziti, Artesian Bread
